Wordless Wednesday: Vintage Windows

Wednesday, July 16, 2014
Okay y'all, I'm not going to lie. This summer, school stuff has NOT been my main focus. I am in the process of buying a house (I'm SO excited and I just can't hide it!) and I have been having so much fun looking for furniture and DIY projects for my new crib. Now that I will have a REAL home, I am working on ditching the college furniture I had for some fun, new (to me) adult furniture.

Yesterday I found two of these fabulous frames for $15/pair on a local "buying/selling" site.

So...What should I do with them?
I have been Pinterest crazy since I picked them up trying to find the perfect project for them. Let me know your thoughts and I'll make sure to show you the final product when they get finished!

Happy Wednesday!
After today... only TWO more before my summer is over. =(

  3. Repaint the frame and sting wire or twine across it with some pretty clips for pictures and mail.

    Love them!

  5. My friend paints on them. But I just used them at my wedding as hanging decorations. They were beautiful!

  6. A collage of photos and mementos. Maybe an alphabet letter from your name. I think I have also seen one done with maps of places you have visited. What a great find!

  7. CONGRATS on the house! I just bought my first home and love it more than I even thought I would :) Maybe some kind of stained glass effect if you have the window/hanging space?

  8. I love Sarah's idea. You could also paint white, sand to create a shabby chic look, hang a pastel and floral colored banner of the rag ties that are so popular now, hang and then out tiny glass vases sporadically on some lanes with one tiny fllower in each. Now I want to get one!
